Heat, anger, sweat, and shouting from every side. A furious evening, colleagues speaking in a foreign language, yet the topic is clear… but why such dissatisfaction? Don’t they have anything in life that could bring a smile to their faces even in this moment? Maybe they do, maybe they just don’t think about it in such situations. I don’t know, maybe they simply don’t realize it. And maybe… maybe they really don’t have it. After all, not so long ago, neither did I.
But today… am I happy? Even now, in this crazy situation? For the first time in my life, I answer this question instantly and with complete clarity: “Yes, why wouldn’t I be?”
It’s amazing how something – or someone – can change the very tone of our being. Each of us has our own motivation, our own source of happiness. And if we don’t, we search for it. And… we find it. Often only when we’ve stopped believing. Yet still, we find it, and the world turns into a fairy tale.
Then it’s only up to us how much we value the happiness we’ve found, how long it stays with us, and how long we allow it to brighten our days even in the worst of times.
